The James Baroud Wider Ladder, a sliding aluminum ladder included with the limited-edition Magma rooftop tent, is adjustable to suit the height of your vehicle. Measuring 38.5 cm in width and 170 cm in length when folded, this ladder is both wider and longer than its predecessor. When fully extended, it reaches up to 310 cm, offering improved stability and outstanding comfort while entering or exiting the tent. This reduces the risk of slipping and makes rooftop tent access safer and easier. Thanks to its non-slip, ergonomic steps and rubber feet, it provides a firm grip and reliable performance on a variety of terrains.

The ladder’s design allows for slight flexing as the tent moves, helping prevent damage to the shell when secured in the correct position. Its high-quality aluminum locking mechanism allows the ladder to be attached on either side of the tent, ensuring secure mounting even with interior movement or strong winds. This reliable locking system ensures a stable and safe climb regardless of the terrain. Despite its increased width, the ladder remains exceptionally stable and safe due to the premium aluminum used. It can support up to 200 kg (440 lbs) without compromising safety.

The wider ladder comes with a specially designed PVC carrying bag that protects it from sand, mud, and water during transport. This practical accessory plays a key role in preventing the tent from becoming soiled when the ladder is stored inside before closing. Additionally, the bag helps prolong the ladder’s lifespan by shielding it from weather exposure. For added convenience, the ladder can be easily stored inside the tent when folded, maximizing space and keeping the interior clean for future outdoor adventures.
